Welcome to the Minneapolis Leadership program, you are about to begin what may be the most powerful 10 weeks of your life! Seeking and discovering passion, balance, possibilities and joy in life are the cornerstones of my leadership philosophy. My purpose in being a leadership coach is to stand in service with individuals who are seeking to live a life to the very edge of possibility. My practice as a leader is to create an environment and experience of excellence, in which there is an openness and exchange of ideas. I have been a nurse for many years; much of my career (over 25 years) has been spent in managerial and director level positions in health care. Eight years ago, I began practice as a nurse practitioner. My educational experience includes a Master in Nursing Administration and a 2-year post Master certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have been certified as a Performance Coach since 2004. This is my fifth experience as a Leadership coach. I keep coming back because I am passionate about working as a partner with you to achieve your goals and I have seen the difference that partnership can make. I am also certified as a Relationship coach as well as an NLP Practitioner.
In my own practice as a coach, I have been working with leaders surrounding balance in their life and work place issues, relationships family communication and career change.

I’m the creator of Next Step Forward, a coaching practice based in Madison, WI. I am also a teacher at the high school level and a change agent in my school, family, and personal life. I am a certified Performance Coach, a Family Coach, and a graduate of the Portland Leadership Program. I have always had a vision and passion for creating change and transformation. As a high school teacher, I spent three years working with students with disabilities, recognizing their unique contribution and creating environments to support them in expressing themselves. As an English teacher, I have created inclusive classrooms where all students participate and achieve. I have been a Teacher Leader at her school, co-writing a federal grant to reorganize and systematize the provision of services to all students. My Master’s degree focused on developing equity of students’ educational experience regardless of race, socioeconomic status, or ability.
Using passion and humor, my intention is to create connection, bring about social justice, and inspire committed action both in my own life and as a coach with my clients-as well as with my students! I stand powerfully for my clients’ dreams and create harmony between compassionate listening and rigorous commitment. Being in touch with my authentic self invites my clients to clarify their values, celebrate their achievements, and identify and take the Next Step Forward in their lives. My coaching clients include individuals who take a committed lead in their own lives by educating themselves, realizing their full potential, and empowering themselves to make their lives extraordinary.

Welcome to the Minneapolis Leadership program. I’m so excited to be with you on your journey as you tap into your unique talents as a leader. My purpose is to assist others to live their best life and have the life of their dreams. 16 years ago I had the opportunity to really tap into my leadership capabilities as I assisted my husband in starting from the ground up what has grown into a very successful medical device manufacturing company. I currently handle much of the Human Resources for the company as well as Regulatory Affairs. My educational experience includes BBA and BA from the University of North Dakota. I graduated from the Bay Area Leadership program in 2005 and feel that it is a fabulous opportunity for me to come back to Minneapolis Leadership as a coach. I have been certified as a Performance Coach since 2007 and have taken much of what I learned and applied it to how our company is “being” with our clients and how we as the employer are “being” with our employees. I am also a Certified Family Coach and an NLP Practitioner. I live in Morgan Hill, CA with my husband and two lovely daughters.
