What is a ROPES Course and what is the difference?
The Ropes course is the outdoor part of the summer camp. Youth need to integrate the learning through action. We teach concepts using games and processes in the room but the outdoor set of experiences are designed to have the learning really be applied.
We have a certified Ropes course and instructors who are there to assist the teens in learning and to ensure safety. The course includes both high and low events all of which require the teens utilize safety equipment. All equipment is provided, the teen need only bring long pants, long sleeve shirts and tennis shoes for the days we are on the course.
