San Diego Leadership Service Project

Dress for Success was the community service project chosen by the San Diego LP group. Dress for Success responds to the needs of communities by providing programs that help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs, retain their new positions and succeed in the mainstream workplace. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and a week's worth of separates when she gets the job. As a way of contributing to this organization, the Leaders in San Diego donated hundreds of clothing items as well as accessories. They truly made a difference in the lives of many women challenged to have the wardrobe they need to be in the workplace.
