What is the Certification Process vs. Completion
Coaches attending must have obtained training on coaching core competencies and be certified coaches from a coach training institution with 80 hours curriculum or have documented a minimum of 50 hours in a coaching practice.
- Pre work research and reading will be required
- Attend all training days
- CRC - Thursday - Sunday
- CFC - Friday - Sunday
- Be mentored by a certified faculty coach through a 12 week coaching process using the Relationship or Family Coaching Manual.
- Successfully complete with 2 “practice” clients (which you have enrolled and created agreement to be coached) through the entire process.
- Participate in tele-classes conducted by faculty coaches.
Recording calls with feedback of some coaching sessions as well as giving feedback to other coaches on their recorded coaching calls
Log all hours for ICF certification
Complete all additional reading assignment as instructed by the faculty
If you are NOT applying for certification, your coaching hours are less but all academic work must be complete. You will be required to have at least 15 hours of coaching practice. Much of this time is coaching internal clients in your class. Depending upon your vision, the faculty staff will develop a personalized plan for your completion.
